Zack's big 13 birthday!

For some reason...this year...we really dropped the ball on taking pictures of Zack's birthday. We didn't get very many. He had a friend party and his friends came over and ate pizza, played games, watched the Lightning Thief movie, and then they had donuts...no cake....Zack picked donuts instead. We put the #13 into the donut.

I think this was one of Zack's favorite presents...from Grandma Campbell....a new (nice) camera!

Of course...Tucker had to help unwrap his presents. This was actually on his birthday....it was a sunday, and we went up to Grandma Campbell's for dinner.

Wheelbarrow rides!

I have fond memories of my Grandpa Satterthwaite taking us for wheelbarrow rides when I was little. It made me smile so big to see my Dad taking one of my kids, and his cousins on a wheelbarrow ride....a memory passed on to the next generation. :)

Zack's first solo ride

Here's Zack's first solo ride on a four wheeler. He thought it was pretty cool. Zack said...
"I was excited! I've always wanted to drive something motorized and that was my first time."

Second Parade

We did a second parade for the fourth of July when we got back from Island Park, so that the kids could have a chance to decorate their bikes and ride around Mimi and Papa's circle.

Tucker needed help riding his bike. This Mickey Mouse bike he got for his birthday is especially hard for him to pedal...or learn how to pedal, so I helped him.

Bella (kinda) watching the parade.

Island Park 2010

Tucker, 2 years...Wyatt, 4 years....and Lucas, 3 years.

Bella 2 months, Gavin 6 1/2 months, and Delaney 11 1/2 months...almost one!

Playing games.

Camille 13 months old and Gavin 6 1/2 months.

Hanging out.

We have a tradition in the Satterthwaite family that on the 4thof July we have our own parade. Instead of going to a parade that is hot and....well....not always our favorite...we have a parade that consists of our favorite parts....our kids and candy.
So, we usually have the kids deorate their bikes and ride them
around Mimi and Papa's (my mom and dad) circle driveway. Then Mike drives around the circle and throws out candy as the kids stand around the circle and catch it. This year on the 4th, we were in Island Park, so we just did the candy part. This is the adults watching. And our pilot all decorated up...the entire parade...and Mike throwing out candy.

Roasting hot dogs and making smores.
